A Little About Me!
My Philosophy of Teaching: I believe that in order to teach a classroom, you have to have complete and complex knowledge about everything you are teaching. Students will only be able to learn from a teacher who is organized, on task, and respectful. Teaching and learning go hand-in-hand. Only a good teacher can help students learn and students who want to learn help to make a great teacher. The student’s role in a classroom is to absorb everything possible from the teacher, the other students, and the entire environment of the classroom. The teacher’s role is to help the students learn everything they possibly can. I think that students learn a lot better when they get direct student to teacher interaction. Because of this, I believe that a teacher should set aside time out of every class to help any student individually who may be struggling.
Knowledge can be defined as clear and certain mental apprehension. The amount of knowledge a student can gain in a classroom depends on the teacher. If the teacher is not teaching by guidelines, the students will not acquire a great knowledge of the subject. If the teacher is very thorough and precise, the students will have a great knowledge of the subject being taught.
Everything in the world is worth knowing. Whether it’s learning simple math like 2 +2 = 4, or astronomy and physics. If you have the opportunity to learn something, you should take it. Everything you learn adds to your overall knowledge of the world and can only benefit you later on in life.
I believe the overall purpose of education is for every person in the world to reach their highest potential level of knowledge. Education is such an important concept because everything that you do in a single day revolves around your education. For example, as you drive to work you use your knowledge of how to operate a car. In order to drive the car, someone at one point had to teach you how to. Since you were taught, you are educated in how to drive a car. Education in any form improves your overall knowledge.
I want to help kids reach their highest potential, and I believe that my motivation to help children will make our future generations more educated.
